14 DAY TRIAL // The first Alpha release in the new Firefox 29.x branch has been made available for download by Mozilla for all platforms, including Linux.
Mozilla doesn't give any details about the upcoming Alpha versions, even if it's something that everyone is waiting for. The reason is simple, as the developers still have to test a lot of the things that are going to make it into the Beta.
As always, the binaries for Mozilla Firefox 29 Alpha 1 can be downloaded and run without having to install anything, but you will have to be very careful because it will use any available Firefox profile, and some add-ons will not be compatible.
