The Fedora Project has just published details about the inclusion of the recently released Mozilla Firefox 38.0 web browser in the main software repositories of the Fedora 21 operating system.

The new Mozilla Firefox 38.0 web browser is also available in the software repositories of the upcoming Fedora 22 Linux operating system, which should hit the streets next week, on May 26.

"Mozilla released version 38 of the Firefox web browser last week, and the updated version is available now in the Fedora repositories for Fedora 21, and for users running Fedora 22 pre-release versions," reads today's announcement.

The Firefox 38.0 web browser was released by Mozilla last week, on May 12. While not a prominent release, Mozilla Firefox 38.0 introduced a new tab-based preferences that we presented to you in detail via a first-look article.

Another interesting feature that landed in Mozilla Firefox 38.0 is support for high DPI screens, which means that Fedora users no longer have to tweak the web browser to work correctly on these screens.

As such, Fedora Linux users who are currently using the HiDPI tweak presented in the Fedora Wiki might want to reset the layout.css.devPixelsPerPx value to default before upgrading to the new Mozilla Firefox 38.0 web browser.
