Officially released on March 13th, as planed, the Mozilla Firefox 11.0 web browser brought some highly anticipated features.

With today's updates, Canonical upgraded the default web browser in its Ubuntu 11.10 (Oneiric Ocelot) operating system to Firefox 11.

Besides the usual bug fixes and small improvements, Firefox 11 also brings some nice features, such as the ability to automatically sync installed Add-Ons via the built-in Firefox Sync engine.

Another important feature in Mozilla Firefox 11.0 is the ability to import the bookmarks, history and cookies from the Google Chrome web browser.

All Ubuntu 11.10 users can update their Firefox web browser to version 11.0 right now, by using the Update Manager software.

Download Firefox 11.0 for Linux binaries and sources right now from Softpedia. Also, don't forget to visit our always up-to-date Firefox Extensions section for the latest add-ons!
