14 DAY TRIAL // FileZilla, a fast and reliable cross-platform FTP, FTPS and SFTP client with lots of features and an easy-to-use graphical interface, has just reached version 3.6.0.
FileZilla 3.6.0 has just a few minor changes, fixing a crash that was introduced in the 3.5.3 version and a bug that occurred on IPv6-only hosts. This means that the network configuration wizard will no longer crash, if the user is using an IPv6 address.
The previous Release Candidate for Filezilla also improved the functionality of the software. First of all, the "Remember passwords?" dialog is no longer shown if the user has connected anonymously.
Secondly, the choice of words in the "Remember passwords?" dialog is now a lot more consistent.
Other changes include a longer default TLS session lifetime and a better deletion dialogue that specify if the files are local or online.
