Fetchmail, a full-featured, robust, well-documented remote-mail retrieval and forwarding utility intended to be used over on-demand TCP/IP, is now at version 6.3.23.
Fetchmail 6.3.23 supports every remote-mail protocol now in use on the Internet, including POP2, POP3, RPOP, APOP, KPOP, all flavors of IMAP, ETRN, ODMR, and even IPv6 and IPSEC.
Highlights of Fetchmail 6.2.23:
• The compilation with OpenSSL implementations before 0.9.8m lacked the SSL_CTX_clear_option. A patch has been put in place; • The combination of --plugin and -f - has been fixed; • The build process can now be made a bit more silent and concise through ./configure --enable-silent-rules, or by adding "V=0" to the make command; • Maillennium POP3 workarounds have been made less specific in order to encompass Maillennium POP3/UNIBOX (Maillennium V05.00c++).
