Fedora Utils 2.3.2 Fixes the Oracle Java Installer

Highlights of Fedora Utils 2.3.2:

• The codec installation has been fixed;
• The Oracle Java installation has been repaired;
• The Arista installation now works properly;
• The add-sudoer plugin is no longer showing the wrong status.

The installation is pretty fast forward and can be done through a terminal. Just enter the following command:

su -c "curl http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/satya164:/fedorautils/Fedora_17/home:satya164:fedorautils.repo -o /etc/yum.repos.d/fedorautils.repo && yum install fedorautils"

If you are using Fedora 17, then you will also need to install the patched zenity. Open a terminal and enter the following command:

su -c "curl http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/satya164:/zenity/Fedora_17/home:satya164:zenity.repo -o /etc/yum.repos.d/zenity.repo && yum update zenity"
