As reported by Softpedia last week, the Fedora devs decided to delay the release of the Beta version of Fedora 22 by a week. The Fedora 22 Beta Go/No-Go Meeting took place on April 16, and the distribution received green light for the April 21 release.

One of the biggest features implemented in the Fedora 22 Beta operating system will be the recently announced Linux kernel 4.0, which has already been included in the default software repositories of the distribution and was made available to all Fedora 22 Alpha users on April 15.

"At the Fedora 22 Beta Go/No-Go Meeting #2 that just occurred, it was agreed to Go with the Fedora 22 Beta by Fedora QA, Release Engineering and Development," says Jaroslav Reznik in an email. "Fedora 22 Beta will be publicly available on Tuesday, April 21, 2015."

Therefore, next Tuesday, you will be able to download and test the last development version of the upcoming Fedora 22 Linux operating system, due for release on May 26, 2015, if everything goes according to plan and no other delays occur. The Final Freeze will come into effect starting May 12.
