Fedora 21, the upcoming version of the famous Linux distribution built by Red Hat, has been delayed another week, to the surprise of no one.

Most of the Fedora releases register all kinds of delays and Fedora 21 is not making an exception from this rule. It's become somewhat of regular occurrence, so no one is really surprised that the release date has slipped by another week.

The decision to delay the final version of the distribution, alongside all the milestone versions as well, was made during the latest Go/No-Go meeting.

"Today at Go/No-Go meeting it was decided to slip Fedora 21 Alpha release by one week due to unresolved blocker bugs [1] and no release candidate available. More details in meeting minutes [2]. As a result, ALL MAJOR MILESTONES, and their dependent tasks, will be pushed out by one week [3]. The next Go/No-Go meeting is on Thursday, Sep 11, the same time at #fedora-meeting-2 channel," said Red Hat's Jaroslav Reznik.

The final version of the Fedora 21 Linux distribution is now expected to arrive on 25 November, but it's very likely that more delays are on their way.

In any case, you can download Fedora 20 right now from Softpedia and give it a spin while you wait for the next version.
