The Fedora Project has announced that the final version of Fedora 20 “Heisenbug” Linux distribution will be released on December 17.

The current development cycle of Fedora 20 has gone through a number of delays, but it seems that all the problems have been solved and the final build is just around the corner.

“At the Fedora 20 Final Go/No-Go Meeting that just occurred, it was agreed to Go with the Fedora 20 by Fedora QA and Fedora Development. Fedora Release Engineering to be notified (with possibility to revisit Go decision in case of unexpected issues from releng side). Fedora 20 will be publicly available on Tuesday, December 17, 2013,” said Red Hat’s Jaroslav Reznik.

In the meantime, you can download Fedora 20 Beta right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
