Robyn Bergeron had the pleasure to announce another delay of Fedora

We usually like to announce when a distribution is available for download. Fedora 17 is not yet available for download and will be delayed another week. Who could have guessed that?

Robyn Bergeron, the appointed leader of the Fedora Project, made the unexpected announcement after a Go/No-Go meeting (they should just call them No-Go, it's easier).

“At the Go/No-Go meeting today, it was decided to slip the GA of Fedora 17 by one week. There are currently 4 remaining release blockers, necessitating the creation of RC2."

"Minutes follow below. GA for F17 is now scheduled for 2012-05-29. Adjustments to the schedule and wiki will be completed later today. We will be meeting again next Thursday, 2012-05-24, for another Go/No-Go meeting,” said Robyn Bergeron.

There will be another "No-Go" meeting next week and hopefully they will be able to announce that Fedora 17 (Beefy Miracle) is available for download.

In the meantime, users can download Fedora 17 Beta right now from Softpedia.
