The Fedora Project officially unleashed the Fedora 17 Alpha (Beefy Miracle) operating system earlier yesterday, February 28th.

Being powered by Linux kernel 3.3 RC3, the KDE Edition of the Fedora 17 Alpha Live CD comes with the KDE Software Compilation 4.8 environment.

Fedora 17 Alpha is distributed as Live CDs with KDE SC and GNOME desktop environments, as well as an installable DVD ISO image for both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures.
