Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered is a remake of the original Fahrenheit released by a studio called Quantic Dream, and it also runs on Linux. The game comes with a promotion that will expire on June 11.

Quantic Dream is a French studio that might be better remembered by other titles like the console exclusive Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls. The other two games built by the devs are Fahrenheit and Omikron: The Nomad Soul. All of these titles have been very successful, so you know that a remake of an older title is good news.

"Originally released in 2005, Fahrenheit (known as Indigo Prophecy in North America) was a breakthrough in interactive narrative, teetering between the worlds of cinema and gaming while also embracing them, carving its own unique genre in the entertainment landscape. This newly remastered edition features updated graphics, controller support AND is based on the uncut/uncensored international version of the game," reads the Steam synopsis.

The system requirements for the Linux version are not very high, but not all that much. Users will need at least Ubuntu 14.04 or SteamOS, Intel Core i3 or AMD A10, 4 GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 260 or AMD equivalent, and 15 GB of available space.

The promotion is set to expire on June 11.
