The title is still in the Early Access Game program

FaeVerse Alchemy, a puzzle game developed and published by Subsoap, has been released on Steam for Linux with a small 9% discount.

FaeVerse Alchemy looks little like Tetris or match three at first glance, but the developer has made the gameplay different enough so that it has its own personality. This is not the final version, as the title has just been accepted into the Early Access Game program.

This means that you can buy the game, but it will not be the final version. The developers will continue to improve it and someday it will be released as the stable version.

In FaeVerse Alchemy players combine like elements to create higher tier elements in a match three type of gameplay, but there is much more to be discovered.

“Easy to learn, but difficult to master game. It is easy to underestimate the level of mastery required to really play the game. Though the basics are easy to grasp, it is like chess in that to really play well, you must think multiple steps ahead,” said the developer on the Steam website.

The Linux system requirements haven’t been posted yet because the game is still under heavy development, but they should be too prohibitive.

More information about FaeVerse Alchemy can be found on the Steam website.
