Aria2, a utility for downloading files that support multiple protocols such as HTTP(S), FTP, BitTorrent, and Metalink, is now at version 1.18.3.

Aria2 1.18.3 is a download manager that comes with some great features, such as custom HTTP Header support, magnet links support, segmented downloading, and more. The developers have been updating this software constantly and it's now one of the best of its kind.

“This release fixes the bug which may cause assertion failure after multi-file downloads (e.g., multi-file metalink or torrent) are performed several times due to the bad handling of --bt-max-open-files option,” reads the official announcement.

Also, a crash that occurde if unpause failed before assigning BtProgressInfoFile object has been fixed, and a bug where numOpenFile_ was not reduced when MultiDiskAdaptor was deleted has been corrected.
