The fourth maintenance release of Evolution 3.8.x has been launched

Evolution, a complete solution that provides integrated mail, address book, and calendaring functionality to users of the GNOME desktop environment, is now at version 3.8.4.

The fourth maintenance release of the Gnome 3.8.x branch is upon us, and Evolution is one of the first to arrive with a new version, as usual.

Highlights of Evolution 3.8.4:

• A custom alarm message is now shown in pop-up alerts; • The main toolbar's “prefer-item” feature has been reintroduced; • An error that occurred when the user was setting the reminder “after start of appointment” has been fixed; • Moving a meeting now asks for confirmation; • A crash that occurred when using -fstack-protector-strong has been fixed; • Various translations have been updated.
