The Epiphany developers have recently released the second and probably the last maintenance release for the stable 3.10 branch of GNOME's default web browser.

Epiphany 3.10.2 is here to expand the list of languages that are available in the preferences dialog, update the EasyList URL filter rules for the integrated ad blocker, update translations, restore the redo and undo functions in the editable content, and update the documentation.

Moreover, it is essential to mention that Epiphany 3.10.2 can now detect the famous and extremely popular .xz format as compressed archives, in order to avoid filenames like "filename.tar(1).xz". Also, the window width can now be reduced.

On the other hand, Epiphany 3.11.1 is a development release that includes all of the above improvements, and on top of that reintroduces support for activating the Find bar using / and ', and fixes some code.

We remind everyone that Epiphany 3.10.2 is now part of the recently released GNOME 3.10.2 desktop environment, so make sure you update your system as soon as possible. More details can be found in the official raw changelog. Download Epiphany 3.10.2 and 3.11.1 right now from Softpedia. Keep in mind the the latter is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
