Epidemic GNU Linux 4.0 Beta 2 is a distribution built in Brazil and codenamed “New Generation”. It's the first one to be released for the 64-bit platform, and it contains features like:
• The eMod application has been added. Users can now change more easily themes, remove applications, and implement changes when running from a penndrive; • The eUpgrade application has been updated, providing and alternative mode of updating the operating system; • German support has been added; • eKwin, an application that can shutdown KDE effects with one click, has been added;
