Enlightenment E17, a lean, fast, modular and very extensible window manager for X11 that provides all the necessary packages to run a desktop, has just reached version 0.17.1.

This might be just maintenance release, as the developers call it, but it features an impressive number of changes and updates.

Highlights of Enlightenment E17 0.17.1:

• The mixer settings dialog is now resizable; • Three more files have been added for input methods used in Asian countries; • Desktop->Shelves menu now shows shelf names; • A crash which occurred when changing the ibar source has been fixed; • Restoring the default keybindings no longer restores two bindings for ctrl+alt+f; • A crash which occurred when changing desktops configuration

A comprehensive list of changes and improvements can be found in the official announcement.
