Endian Firewall Community, a "turn-key" Linux security distribution that turns every system into a full featured security appliance with Unified Threat Management (UTM) functionality, is now at version 2.5.2.

Unlike the previous version which was quite consistent, the 2.5.2 version only brings various updates for software and hardware.

Highlights of Endian Firewall Community 2.5.2:

• The ClamAV has been updated to the most recent version in order to make sure that signature updates will continue to work; • The anti-spyware lists are now provided by PhishTank instead of Malware Domains. The developers say that it will allow them to show an information page with a link to PhishTank’s description of the malicious website; • Support for various hardware devices has been added.
