Elliot Quest, a 2D minimalist adventure title developed and published by Ansimuz Games, has arrived on Steam for Linux and all the other supported platforms.

There are a ton of adventure games on the Steam platform and Linux users have had the chance to try many of them. This is one of indie developers' favorite genres, but Elliot Quest might prove to be a very interesting experience.

"Elliot can’t die—but he’s still running out of time. In Elliot Quest, the victim of a rare curse must find a cure before he’s transformed into a demon. After Elliot’s wife disappears, he falls sick and attempts to take his own life--only to discovers that he can’t die. Plagued by nightmares and growing weaker by the day, Elliot seeks out a local Sage, who tells him that he’s the victim of a rare curse. A demon called a Satar is slowly consuming Elliot’s vitality," reads the Steam website.

The system requirements for Elliot Quest are pretty low, but that was to be expected. Users will only need to have at least Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.1 GHz or equivalent CPU, 1 GB of RAM, and at least a 2nd Generation Intel Core HD Graphics (2000/3000) graphics solution.

Enjoy!
