Dust: An Elysian Tail, a 2D adventure game developed by Humble Hearts LLC and published by Microsoft Studios, has been released on the Linux platform.

It is not every day that we see Microsoft Studios publishing a game for the Linux platform, but this is just the case with Dust: An Elysian Tail.

“Immerse yourself in a gorgeous hand-painted world on a search for your true identity. As the mysterious warrior, Dust, your action-packed journey will take you from peaceful glades to snowy mountaintops and beyond,” reads the official synopsis.

You have to understand that the game wasn’t developed by Microsoft itself, but by the team at Humble Hearts LLC. It's interesting to see how the Steam service has been a catalyst for two different platforms.

Linux System Requirements:

OS: glibc 2.15+, 32/64-bit (S3TC NOT required); Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8Ghz or equivalent; Memory: 2 GB RAM; Graphics: OpenGL 3.0+ support (2.1 with ARB extensions acceptable); Hard Disk Space: 1.5 GB HD space.
