Dropbox 1.7.7 is an experimental version and is way ahead of the stable branch. It brings a lot of new features, but keep in mind that not all of them will make it into the final version.
Highlights of Dropbox 1.7.7:
• A bug that causes the notifications to enter a bad state without the ability to recover has been fixed; • Clicking a shared folder invitation now opens the invitation inbox. • A bug which made the popup to remain visible while the tray icon was hidden while quitting the application, has been fixed; • Improved performance when acknowledging notifications; • Other small fixes have been implemented.
