Doxygen, a documentation system for C++, C, Java, Objective-C, Python, IDL (Corba and Microsoft flavors), Fortran, VHDL, PHP, C#, and to some extent D, is now at version 1.8.3.

Highlights of Doxygen 1.8.3:

• Expanding the tree in an index page of the HTML output, will now expand only one level instead of the whole sub-tree (thanks to Pez Cuckow for the patch); • A blockquote in Markdown does no longer require a whitespace after the last '>' if the '>' is followed by a newline; • Support for using external tools to index and search through the HTML documentation has been added; • Some compilation issues with 0 to QCString cast for old compilers have been fixed.
