Introduced by Softpedia at the beginning of the year, the Ubuntu Secure Remix operating system has just reached version 12.04 and it is available for download on mirrors worldwide.

Ubuntu Secure Remix 12.04 is now based on the Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) operating system and is a slightly modified version of the normal Ubuntu Desktop Live CD.

Ubuntu Secure Remix was created with one single goal in mind, to be used by users who want to install the Ubuntu distro in a dual-boot configuration with the Windows or Macintosh operating systems.

It offers only three applications that are not in the normal Ubuntu release: Clean-Ubiquity, OS-Uninstaller and Boot-Repair.

Ubuntu Secure Remix 12.04 is distributed as Live CD ISO images for both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures.

Download Ubuntu Secure Remix 12.04 right now from Softpedia.
