DoudouLinux, a distribution build for children, that strives to make computer usage and other assorted activities a lot more fun and interesting, is now at version 1.2.

DoudouLinux 1.2 is based on Debian Squeeze, the current stable release of Debian, and according to the developers, this is the last maintenance release for version 1.x.

Highlights of DoudouLinux 1.2:

· Official support for Finnish, Galician, and Norwegian (Nynorsk) has been added, increasing the number of official languages to 28; · The size of the application launcher icons in the advanced activities of Gondwanda is now computed based on screen resolution, which makes everything fit better in the interface; · Internal disk partitions of the computer are now mounted read-only at boot making them tempering proof against unwanted actions; · Translations and PDF documentations have been updated.
