Distance, the first game that managed to get through the tough Steam Greenlight program, will also be arriving on Linux.

Distance is developed by Refract Studios and it claims to be a spiritual successor of Nitronic Rush, but it was also described as Trials Evolution + Rush 2049 + Halo + Tron.

If that makes any sense, then you should know that Distance combines arcade racing with the explorations of an entire new world. Players will get to control a car that can boost, jump, rotate, and even fly for small periods of time.

Even if it went through the Steam Greenlight program, there will be a while until the actual game will be available for purchase. If you are interested in this project, you should check the official website of the game.
