Univention, a company that offers management solutions for internal or cloud-hosted IT infrastructures, has released Univention Corporate Server 3.2-1, a new Debian-based Linux distribution.

Univention comes with its own App Center and includes an updated version of Samba 4 for the provision of Active Directory-compatible domain services

Highlights of Univention Corporate Server 3.2-1:

• The Linux kernel has been updated to version 3.10.26; • The Univention App Center has been extended and can now launch third-party applications; • The UCS solution for the automatic migration of an Active Directory domain to UCS has been improved further; • Multiple usability enhancements in the Univention Management Console (UMC) have been implemented.
