14 DAY TRIAL // Dead Island: Epidemic, a ZOMBA (Zombie Online Multiplayer Battle Arena) game that will be published by Deep Silver exclusively on Steam, might also get a Linux version.
Very little is known about Dead Island: Epidemic and its developers. Presumably, it’s being developed by the same people from Techland who made the rest of Dead Island games.
In any case, the development is proceeding very slowly and people have just started receiving invites for the Alpha version.
A user who got such an invite has posted on Reddit that he had selected his OS as being Linux, but he was invited despite his choice. The fact that there was a Linux choice to begin with probably means that a Linux version is probably in the making.
“In this game, players need to cooperate and team up to take on other teams of players while fighting back the zombie hordes. Are you ready to join the next generation of the outbreak?” reads the official announcement for this game.
