We’ve introduced Cutegram 2 a while back as the best Telegram Client for Linux ever. Since then, the application received several maintenance releases and it has been updated today, March 29, to version 2.1.1, a point release that brings many cool features to the application.

According to the changelog, a smart scrollbar has been added to the dialog list, suggestions have been implemented for both Hashtag and Username, master color has been enabled again, and custom notifications have been added for contact lists.

Moreover, Cutegram is now much faster thanks to some code cleanup, it now supports 32-bit versions of the Mac OS X operating system, lets users search selected text on the Internet, and fixes a bug with the Ubuntu Linux operating system, related to the binary file.

Last but not least, the annoying video thumbnail bug in the Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X operating systems has been repaired, and the Spanish, Portuguese, and Chinese (Taiwan) language translations have been updated.

Many other small bugs have been squashed and various improvements implemented. You can download Cutegram 2.1.1 for GNU/Linux right now from Softpedia, where it is available for both 32 and 64-bit architectures, for DEB and RPM distributions.
