Crypt of the NecroDancer, a hardcore roguelike rhythm game developed by Brace Yourself Games and published by Klei Entertainment, has landed on Steam for Linux.

Crypt of the NecroDancer has been in the Early Access program for quite some time, but now the game has been released as stable, and it has been received very well by the community. It might not look like much from the screenshots, but the truth is that it has great replayability value because the action moves to a song beat, and even MP3 from users can be used.

Players will have to move to the beat in order to navigate dungeons and battle enemies such as dancing skeletons, zombies, dragons, and many bosses. It's not an easy game, but it's not really supposed to be that way.

"Crypt of the NecroDancer has left Early Access and has launched fully on Steam! Your game should automatically update to the latest version. (Make sure that the loading screen says v1.0 or higher, or you may not yet have the latest build.)," is noted in the official announcement.

The system requirements for Crypt of the NecroDancer are pretty low. Users will need to have Steam OS and Ubuntu 12.04 (other systems might work as well), a 2GHz processor, 1500 MB of RAM, and 1.6 GB of HDD space.

The game also has a 25% discount that is scheduled to end on April 30.
