Crusader Kings II: Rajas of India, a new DLC for Crusader Kings II developed by Paradox Interactive, has been released for the Linux platform.

Crusader Kings II is a historic real-time strategy that shares some features with the Europa Universalis franchise, which is also made by the Paradox development studio.

“Crusader Kings II: Rajas of India is the sixth expansion for the critically praised strategy/RPG Crusader Kings II and will focus on Eastern Persia and India. The expansion Rajas of India extends the map to the east, including the entire Indian subcontinent, and allows you to play as a Hindu, Buddhist or Jain ruler. Can you defend Dharma against foreign invaders and bring order to the subcontinent?” reads the official description of the DLC.

The based game has been out for quite some time and the Linux fans had ample time to get to learn how it's played. The system requirements are quite high: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, an Intel Pentium IV 2.4 GHz or AMD 3500+ processor, 2 GB of RAM, 2GB of HDD space, and an ATI Radeon HD 6750 / NVIDIA GeForce 320 / NVIDIA GeForce > 9600 or higher video card, with 1024MB RAM.
