CrunchBang, a Linux distribution based on Debian and powered by the lightweight Openbox window manager, designed especially for low-end machines, is now at version 11 R20120924.

CrunchBang 11 R20120924 distribution, codenamed "Waldorf," is based on Wheezy sources, which is the testing branch of Debian. This means that changes, bugs and breakages are expected.

Highlights of CrunchBang 11 R20120924:

· The previous Compton/VLC workaround/bug fixing package has been rendered obsolete; · A few basic example templates (.sh & .txt) have been included for Thunar; · Depreciated syntax in the default Openbox menu and rc files has been updated; · A new keyboard shortcut was added for htop (Super+h); · gnome-keyring problems have been fixed.
