Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, a game developed and published by Valve on Steam, might be arriving to Linux, soon.

Valve hasn’t announced anything yet and there has been no indication of a Linux port. The game is built on the Source engine and the developers have promised that their catalogue will eventually arrive on the open source platform.

The other platforms that enjoy the presence of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO), Windows and Mac OS, have received constant improvements for the game.

The last changelog issued by Valve has a line that doesn’t really fit, if we take into account the official supported operating systems: “Fixed sv_grenade_trajectory linux crash”

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) takes the gameplay of the original title launched 12 years ago and enhances it with today’s technology.

More details about Counter-Strike: Global Offensive can be found on the official Steam website.
