Cold War, an action adventure game, finally made it to the Desura platform, with the help of Linux Game Publishing.

Cold War was developed initially by Mindware Studios and published by DreamCatcher Games, back on 2005. The Linux version arrived a year later, in 2006.

Linux Game Publishing is now pushing it onto Desura, a digital distribution platform for games. According to their website, users of Desura will be able to buy it starting October 12th.

The story of Cold War follows the adventures of a journalist who is imprisoned in U.S.S.R., by the KGB. He is unwillingly thrown in a conspiracy of international proportions, with no chance of escaping.

The players will get to control Matthew Carter and to help the main character escape the prison and expose those responsible for his incarceration.

If you are interested in this game, you should check out the official Desura website. A demo is also available for download.
