Clutter, a GObject-based library for creating fast, visually rich, graphical user interfaces, which works by manipulating a scene-graph of 2D surfaces, or 'actors,' inside a 3D space, is now at version 1.13.6.

Highlights of Clutter 1.13.6:

• Perform the picking in a separate buffer. By using a separate buffer, we can maintain the back buffer in a stable state and recycle its contents when doing clipped redraws; • An experimental API for changing the draw timing has been added; • Always request XInput 2.3 on the X11 backend; • Startup with gnome-shell and cogl-1.14 has been fixed.

A complete list of changes can be found in the official announcement.

Download Clutter 1.13.6 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
