Clonezilla Live 2.2.1-22, a Linux distribution based on DRBL, Partclone, and udpcast that allows users to do bare metal backup and recovery, is now available for download and testing.

Clonezilla Live 2.2.1-22 is now the latest development version for this distribution and comes with a fair number of changes and fixes.

“The underlying GNU/Linux operating system was upgraded. This release is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2014/Jan/06),” reads the announcement.

According to the changelog, the output of blkid will be saved in the image dir as blkid.list, and the packages bcache-tools and chntpw have been added.

Download Clonezilla Live 2.2.1-22 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
