Clonezilla Live 2.1.2-40, a Linux distribution based on DRBL, Partclone, and udpcast, that allows users to do bare metal backup and recovery, is now available for download and testing.
Clonezilla Live 2.1.2-40 is a new development version for this bare metal backup and recovery distribution and it features only a few changes, but most importantly, a new Linux kernel.
The distribution is now based on one of the latest stable kernel, 3.10.5-1, and on the Debian Sid repository, up until August 13, 2013.
Other changes include a new version of Gdisk, 0.8.7-1, updates for the language files, and improvements for the swap partition.
