Clonezilla Live, a Linux distribution based on DRBL, Partclone and udpcast, that allows users to do bare metal backup and recovery, is now at version 1.2.12-37.

As usual, a new version of Clonezilla Live, in this case 1.2.12-37, comes with a lot of changes and major updates to the operating system.

Highlights of Clonezilla Live 1.2.12-37:

· The underlying GNU/Linux OS was upgraded and this release is based on the Debian Sid repository (as of 2012/Mar/25); · Linux kernel was updated to 3.2.12-1; · Partclone-utils was updated to 0.1.3; · Gdisk was updated to 0.8.2; · An option to start over while keeping the mounted image repository was added; · Option -fsck-src-part-y was added so that fsck can be run automatically when saving and image; · Added package dnsutils; · Uses btrfs instead of btrfsctl to tune the size of the btrfs filesystems.
