14 DAY TRIAL // Mage's Initiation, an adventure/RPG set in a magical realm, built in the old style of classic Sierra games, has been successfully funded and a Linux version will be released.
Himalaya Studios proposed the support for the Linux platform as a stretch goal. It was achieved shortly before the end of their Kickstarter campaign.
According to the developers, Mage's Initiation is an RPG / Adventure Game hybrid, very similar in style and execution to Sierra On-Line's classic point & click Quest for Glory and King's Quest series.
The game is expected to arrive on multiple platforms, PC, Linux, Mac, Android, and iOS, in February 2014. Until then, the developers from Himalaya Studios have provided a small demo, but it will only run in a Windows OS.
