Towns, a city building and management game that also has many RPG features, can be purchased on Steam for Linux and has just received another huge update.

Towns is a game built by two developers, Xavi Canal and Ben Palgi. It went through the Steam Greenlight system and gathered enough votes in order to be published on Steam.

Highlights of the latest Towns update:

• A new monster, called the evil turtle, has been added; • A new option to pause the game, when a caravan comes, has been added; • Werepig graphics are now isometric; • Pathfinding now adds a bit more importance to the Z level; • When the user removes an item with a contextual menu, the cell under that menu will be revealed.

More details about this patch can be found in the official announcement. If you are interested in this game, you should check the official Steam website.
