Chainsaw Warrior: Lords of the Night is a new title based on 1987 Games Workshop classic board game with the same name. A Linux port of this title has been made available.

Chainsaw Warrior: Lords of the Night is developed and published on Steam for Linux by Auroch Digital and it was released on all available platforms at once, which is a nice bonus. To make things even better, it looks like the community's reaction to it has been rather positive.

"The game sees the player fighting against hordes of Aztec Zombies, and the clock, to save reality from Darkness. Lords of the Night introduces an upgraded combat system, new weapons, powers, equipment and unique mini bosses that require careful tactics to defeat," reads the Steam synopsis.

The system requirements for the game are pretty low and almost anyone will be able to try it. Users will need at least Ubuntu 12.04 / Steam OS (other distros will probably work as well), 2 GB of RAM, an OpenGL 2.1 compatible video card, 400 MB of available HDD space, and an FMOD compatible sound card.

There is no promotion attached to Chainsaw Warrior: Lords of the Night, but it already has a very low price.
