Canonical is now releasing daily builds for its Ubuntu Touch Developer Preview, just like they do with the desktop version of Ubuntu.

This may seem like a hassle at first, especially if you would like to keep your phone or tablet up to date, but it also means that Canonical is dedicated to the task of updating the system and are trying to get the community involved.

Canonical's Sergio Schvezov has explained that the daily builds are available for download on cdimage, on the same place all the other Ubuntu flavors are stored.

If you are not a fan of the manual installation, then you should know there's a simpler way of doing it, via the PPA.

We have a comprehensive tutorial in place for the normal installation, but if you want the daily build, only one command is different, unless you are bootstrapping for the first time, in which case you will need the -b parameter: phablet-flash -l

According to Sergio Schvezov, the tool also remembers your agreement so you don't need to tie that in every time, which is a welcome addition.
