All the perks have been removed and only one remains

Canonical's Ubuntu Edge campaign will certainly get a big boost in funding after all the perks have been removed and then replaced with a single one that is much cheaper.

Ubuntu Edge had a really big boost at the start of the campaign, when the device only cost $600 (€449), but the pledges have been slowing down ever since.

Canonical has removed all the other perks and is now offering just a single one, at $695 (€520). It will probably provide a breath of fresh air to the IndieGoGo campaign.

“Thanks to major industry backing we’re setting a special price until the end of the campaign. This is the only place to get the Ubuntu Edge. Comes with a one-year subscription to LastPass Premium and a place on the Ubuntu Edge Founders page,” reads the entry on the IndieGoGo website. Also, users mustn't forgot about the shipping costs.

Ubuntu Edge, the next-generation phone from Canonical, features some amazing hardware and one of its main promises is that it will be able to dual-boot Android and Ubuntu OS.
