Calibre, one of the best e-book management software available for the Linux platform, has now reached version 0.8.28.

We reviewed Calibre a few weeks ago and we found out that it's an amazing software. One of the great things about this particular application is the number of updates the developers implement, every couple of weeks.

Calibre 0.8.28 highlights:

· Litres.ru store has been added; · The algorithm that generates title sort strings to strip leading articles from both english and the current language set for the calibre user interface has been changed; · Driver for Cybook Odyssey; ·Irex driver: Put books into the top level directory instead of into /ebooks or /Books; · Fix underline and strikethrough properties declared on parents not being rendered on child tags, for Mobi output; · When downloading metadata, fix the case normalization of double-barelled author names; · Apple driver: Add ids for iPhone 4S.

There are also some improvements of the news sources, but that about covers it. Check out the entire changelog here.
