Breach & Clear, a tactical strategy simulation developed by Mighty Rabbit Studios and published by Gun, has been released on Steam for Linux with a 35% discount.

Breach & Clear has been released on all the platforms supported by the Steam platform and it has been received as a success.

“Choose your real-world squad -- US Army Rangers, Germany's KSK, Canada’s JTF2, UK SAS, and more -- and take on a variety of foes with different skill-sets and abilities. Learn to approach, engage, and dominate your opponents through superior tactics and training,” reads the official synopsis of the game.

The players will have access thousands of gun combinations, specialized solders, UAV Drones, and lots of other hardware. Interestingly enough, the game has been developed with help from members of the Special Operations Forces community and features actual close-quarters combat tactics.

The system requirements for the Linux platform are also quite acceptable: a Core 2 Duo processor or equivalent (1.5 GHz or higher), 2 GB of RAM, an OpenGL 3.0+ compatible video card, and 3 GB of available HDD space.

More details about Breach & Clear can be found on the Steam website. The game also comes with a 35% discount that is scheduled to end on March 29.
