Clonezilla Live 2.1.2-35, a Linux distribution based on DRBL, Partclone, and udpcast, that allows users to do bare metal backup and recovery, has been released and it’s available for testing.

Clonezilla Live 2.1.2-35 is a new development version for this bare metal backup and recovery distribution and it features only a few changes.

The developers usually upgrade the kernel along with other changes, but Clonezilla Live 2.1.2-35 only features an update for the underlying GNU/Linux operating system. The distribution is now based on the Debian Sid repository, up until July 30, 2013.

Other changes include the support for SD card device (/dev/mmcblk0) and a bugfix for the partclone.log. A complete changelog can be found in the official announcement. Download Clonezilla Live 2.1.2-35 right now from Softpedia. Remember that this is a development version and it should NOT be installed on production machines. It is intended for testing purposes only.
