14 DAY TRIAL // Kup Backup System, an application that performs fast incremental backups and makes it very easy for anyone to use them, is now at version 0.3.1.
Kup Backup System 0.3.1 only has a few features implemented, but it can already make backups for local filesystems and it even supports schedule options.
• Running with older versions of bup is now allowed by removing the compression level option, which was not useful for most people anyway; • Check if bup is installed, notify user if it's not installed; • An option to take the backup as root has been added. This is useful when you want to backup system files that need root access to read.
