This version replaces GVerb with a brand-new Reverb effect based on Freeverb
The fourth maintenance release of the Audacity software, a cross-platform and open source audio editor, has been officially released this past weekend, for Linux, Mac OS X and Windows operating systems.As we've reported in a previous article for the Release Candidate version of Audacity 2.0.4, this maintenance release introduces a brand-new Reverb effect based on Freeverb, replacing the old GVerb.
Among other new features, we can mention that the "Go to Selection Start" and "Go to Selection End" commands have been added to the View menu, as well as the "Align End to End" command has been added to the Tracks menu to allow users to easily append selected tracks.
