Stellarium 0.12.4, a free open-source planetarium software that displays a realistic and accurate sky in 3D, just like the one that can be seen with the naked eye, binoculars or a telescope, has been officially released and it’s available for download.

The Stellarium 0.12.4 developers have quickly issued another updated for their application in order to add a couple of changes that were extremely necessary.

According to the developers, a crash that caused Stellarium to crash when users enabled binoculars in the Oculars plugin, has been corrected, and nighttime landscapes can now be rendered without lighting.

A complete changelog of Stellarium 0.12.4 can be found in the official announcement. The developers have also recommended that the users reset all Stellarium settings.

Download Stellarium 0.12.4 right now from Softpedia.
