Happy New Year to all Arch Linux fans! It's January and the Arch Linux developers have prepared yet another updated ISO image of their powerful Arch Linux operating system, the first for 2014.
Today, January 5, 2014, we are happy to announce that Arch Linux 2014.01.05 is now available for download via our website (see the link at the end of the article), a release that includes the latest stable upstream Linux kernel (3.12.6), all the updates that were released in December 2013, as well as various improvements and updated translations.
Keep in mind that, if you are using Arch Linux, you don't need to download the new ISO image in order to keep your computer up to date. All you have to do is to use the sudo pacman -Syu command from time to time. This new ISO image is only for those of you who want to install Arch Linux from scratch.
Arch Linux 2014.01.05 is distributed as a dual-architecture ISO image, supporting both 32-bit and 64-bit architectures. Download Arch Linux 2014.01.05 right now from Softpedia.
